Her encouragement throughout my life, to continue painting, led me to the beautiful medium of silk and dyes. I treasured her insights, enhanced as they were by her own artistic gift for color and design.

I have designed and painted each scarf in this collection using the finest imported silk and French dyes. Each design motif is individually painted using watercolor brushes. The final process of steaming the silk makes it completely colorfast and enriches the color.

Since each scarf is individually painted, no two will be exactly alike, even though I have repeated the pattern. Using the same color palette, artistic expression and/or simple mixing of colors will change the outcome slightly.

It is the beauty of a handmade piece; as unique as the wearer.
